March! How the heck did that happen ?
It’s been a busier start to the year than expected so far.
The snow hasn’t come to much, in fact its been unseasonably mild.
What that means for us is beautiful crisp clear filming days… result!
We’ve been surveying construction sites, flying around distilleries, and bobbing up and down in the Cromarty Firth filming oil rigs.
A mad few months.
The best thing about Spring is that new work gets released at a feverish pace… did you catch Fish Town on BBC1?
We provided the aerials for this series, tricky conditions but enormous fun.
Next month also see ‘Wild Rose’ finally released into cinemas across the UK, go see it. Jessie Buckley is awesome!
It seems there has been drones in the news virtually non-stop since Christmas and Gatwick.
So much so I’ve given a few interviews. Both radio and TV.
And for once, the coverage has been positive and generally well received.
What we have noticed though, is that stakeholders have become more and more interested in drone operations.
So much so that we are finding ourselves dealing with the Police and landowners like never before.
Luckily, as one of the most established drone companies in Scotland, we have solid relationships with these folks.
If you have a shoot coming up, don’t leave it until the last minute to book drone crew.
Get in touch now and we can make sure all those permissions are in place so you don’t have to worry.
I'm off to finish building my sons tree house, he's 5 on Thursday!
